Select Padka as your camera and microphone

Padka creates a virtual audio device and a virtual camera on your computer. When Padka is open, it takes the input of the physical camera and the audio device and then augments them with selected sound and visual resources. These augmented sound and video are then output to the Padka virtual camera and audio device. In your application that supports camera and audio input, select Padka from the list of Camera and Microphone to utilize the augmented sound and video.

Open Padka beside your video communication app. Go to Setting Microphone and Camera, select Padka Audio as your microphone (leave "Speaker" Same As System) and Padka Camera as your camera.

How to select Padka in Zoom

Sound and visual resources playing via Padka should now be coming through your microphone and camera signal. You’re good to go!

  • If your video communication application was running prior to opening Padka, you have to restart the application for it to recognize Padka the first time you use it. For example, if you are using Zoom, close, quit (on macOS) and reopen Zoom to see Padka as a selectable camera and microphone.

  • If you don't see Padka as a selectable camera and microphone, restart the application you are using.

  • Browsers like Google Chrome need to be restarted as well before web applications like Google Meet can utilize Padka
